(More customer reviews)I should have known better considering how much the price was cut over competing intakes. Construction overall seems OK; after all, it's just a pipe, air filter, silicone adapters and hose clamps. However, after taking inventory of the parts upon receipt, I came up one silicone adapter short. Ok, not a big deal...I configured it as a short ram and drove to Autozone to pick up another one, and was able to complete the install. However, the mounting options are nonexistent, and now I have to deal with an annoying rattle until I figure out a way to secure the intake tube to the frame...or something. Also, this kit does NOT come with a mass air flow sensor insert, so you most likely WILL get a Check Engine light after installation. Don't worry, nothing's broken, but your fuel trim is going to be way off and you're going to see poor fuel economy until you get one. Look for "Jetta 2.5 MAF insert" and order one from 20squared, provided that they aren't on backorder again. Or, look for the DIY article under the same search on how to make your own MAF insert from a piece of aluminum tubing. Either way, it will solve the CEL problem.
Long story short: OK quality, poor parts accountability, poor fit, should include a MAF insert but doesn't.
