I have 2 of those babes in my car, running on the MTX Thunder elite 1501D amplifier at one ohm load, at 1500 watts RMS. Hell yea, dude hit 140.6 in the competition, could got louder but I don't want to blown them out, still loud as hell. People cheats any ways, buddy had 2 of those running on the Kicker ZX1500.1D amplifier he used 2 Ohm level load one's brought from Sonicelectronix.com he heard I brought it from Amazon he go like dude you paid less than what I paid them. He now got the Orion HCCA 10 Inch one running on ZX1500.1D amplifier, he told me those subs just hit as hard as his single 10 inch Orion HCCA. For the quality and the look this can't go wrong. It'll take 1000 watts too, no joke I known some one have single TS8512 running on the ZX1000.1D amplifier without any problems.

Introducing the newest addition to the MTX Thunder Woofer family, Thunder Square (TS). These subwoofers are serious. The Mad Scientists at MTX were dreaming up hundreds of designs before creating the loudest square subwoofer in the class. Mission accomplished! Thundersquare subwoofers are capable of delivering volume displacement unlike any other in their class. With 1.75" voice coils and up to 125 oz. magnets, they are like nothing you've ever heard! The TS85 subwoofers have a cast aluminum basket for strength and durability as well as a black anodized aluminum cone with a laser etched MTX Audio gothic logo. Point blank - they sound as good as they look. They are perfect for any ride from rusted out Rivieras to bangin' Bentleys and they will be the envy of the neighborhood.
