We improved on it by putting a sheet of plastic on the ground, covered with eight sheets of plywood, for the floor. I'm very impressed with the thickness of the material, the design, and the overall quality.

Shelter King's instant portable garages provide quality instant protection for your valuable assets. Quality means; Heavy Gauge Galvanized Steel. Other fabricators try to sell you on powder coated tubular steel. Powder coat is paint. That's it. Galvanizing changes the chemical composition of the steel so it will not rust. Tubular steel will easily bend, crack etc... Our steel is 14 gauge and difficult to bend or deform without hitting it with a hammer. Our fabric material is 10 ounce double laminated polyethylene - not vinyl. Also, our scrim layer (the fabric in between the inside and outside) is black and UV resistant. Most competitors are using 4 ounce to 7.5 ounce material without the UV protection Shelter King offers. Others will quickly wear through or crack due to UV damage.Our main cover is ONE PIECE. There are no bungee balls or zip ties holding our garages together.Lastly, every Shelter King garage comes with enough earth anchors to secure your unit in most soils. They can be installed in soft earth or directly through driveways with our INCLUDED anchors.At Direct Distribution we had to choose what garages to sell.
