(More customer reviews)The OEM roof rack from Honda is basically useless without additional accessories (specifically if you want to tie items directly to the rack). While tying to the bars will prevent forward and backwards motion, there is no way to tie up to prevent side to side motion. You can see this if you look carefully at the picture. If you tie around the location where the cross beams attach to the roof their triangular shape means that that the rope will just slide up onto the cross beam allowing tied on cargo to slide sideways off of the car.
