(More customer reviews)Despite the bad review I took a chance on this item. I tested it out in the house before going through the trouble of hooking it up in my truck. To its credit the amp has a 3.5mm input so you can hook an ipod or something directly to it which is how I tested it. It sounded pretty good connected to a set of Infinity 6x9 speakers. However when I put it in my truck it became a completely different story. Once I got it all hooked up and turned it on for the first time I couldn't even hear the 6x9's over my factory 4 inch speakers putting out a maximum of 50 watts. Double the power and double the size speaker and I could barely hear them? So I turned the gain up on the amplifier. OK, now I hear them. Just one problem. The amp started cutting out. Apparently anything over minimum power coming from the RCA inputs was overdriving the amp so the audio was choppy.
Nice waste of time and money. I will be sending this P.O.S. back and ordering something that will hopefully work.
