(More customer reviews)I purchased this item to put it in my kid's car becuase of the design of the enclosure moreso than anything else. (Space saving) The fact that it was amplified just simplified the process, or so I thought.
Went to have it and a Kenwood head unit installed, and the guy at the install shop said the wiring set-up from the amplifier negated the usage of the RCA inputs on the back of the radio, which has a sub-out RCA. That Sucked! Now there is less command / separation of the bass signals between the interior speakers and the sub.
Overall, the design is still the key element. You can't beat beaing able to have an amplified sub tucked away in the corner of the trunk bangin' away while still being able to have 90% usage of the trunck itself. MTX hook'd it up with this one for the little Neon! Good investment of $350!
