(More customer reviews)I bought one of these about 3 months ago, not from amazon same people who ship it, and let me tell u what holy hell yeah this amp rocks total control and no over heating at all so worth it, I have 2 12in and 2 15-Inch Power Acoustik MOFO Competition Subwoofer in 2 boxes with 2 Boss Audio Cap20 20 Farad Power Capacitor,and 2 Pyle PBAT1000 1000 AMP 16V Battery Capacitor, also ran back to my tahoe battery. all four subs r seriesed thats Zt = Za + Zb..Zt = Za + Zb Zt = 4 + 4 Zt = 8 ohms that boosts ur subs to their max and beond with out messing them up, so less power more clean more boom, well 10,000 watt amp, the 15s at 3800 watts each and the 12 r 3500 each so I am running over my limit by bridging and series the subs my tahoe shakes so hard I am talking hard window flexin and I also have 1 10 in power acoustiks in my door of my 4 door with 3 6x9s in each door and 8 tweeters in each door so combined I am running all togeather 20,000 watts.... here in da AK 907 that CID llc style

MTX Elite TE1501D Mono Amplifier Review

(More customer reviews)Can run on my stock OEM honda civic without special battery, caps or altenator. never dims my lights so its quite efficient. The high gloss finish looks nice but does show scratches, fingerprints...etc. MTX is family owned and though some are made in usa and china, all china manufacturing facilities are owned my MTX family and they direct head to head test against products like JLaudio amps to make sure their stuff is on top.
Seems to be well built, though would be nice to have some end caps to cover the wiring for stealth installs. All controls are on top, so could be a minus or plus depending on how you plan to install it. Does not interfere with radio reception like some Class D amps do.

(More customer reviews)I just recently bought this amp with a Planet Audio 12" 2400 Watt Sub 4 ohm DVC wired for 2 ohms in a custom ported box. Lets just say my 2010 Ford Fusion is bumping so loud that I had a couple of picture frames in the house fall off of the wall. This amp is a beast. It handles anything I can throw at it without much draw on my battery or stock alternator. The amp is cool to the touch after 2+ hours of constant abuse. I would definately buy this. You wont find a better amp for the money. I went through 2 amps of the same price range and power and had problems with both. I am extemely pleased with this purchase. I would also recommend building or having a custom box built to spec for any system. It will make the world of difference in sound quality and bangin' bass.
